Europa ranked in the top 5% of security companies

Europa has been recognised for its commitment to working to the highest security standards after being presented with a prestigious Guarding Gold medal by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI).

As a result, the Salford-based integrated services provider is now within the top 5% of UK companies operating under the scheme.

The uniquely numbered medal was presented to Europa by NSI Chief Executive, Jeff Little and is awarded to companies which have achieved Guarding Gold approval, the premier scheme for companies involved in the provision of manned security services in the UK.

Ian Pugh, Europa Head of Security for UK and Ireland, said: “Europa’s continual improvement under the NSI Guarding Gold accreditation and the growth of our security service offering further demonstrates that quality security services can be successfully delivered within a TFM model.”

NSI is the UK’s leading independent inspectorate for the security and fire industries, championing the highest standards for 40 years.  NSI approved companies comply with the appropriate British and European Standards and meet the requirements of the police and insurers. Companies are inspected regularly for their continuous delivery of the highest standards to their customers.  NSI also operates a Customer Care support process, underpinning the reliability and integrity of companies it inspects.
