Paxton introduces new installer rewards programme
Paxton has launched their brand-new installer loyalty programme, Paxton Rewards. The new programme rewards Paxton installers for participation in product training, buying, and installing Paxton security solutions.
Paxton Rewards is now live in the Paxton Installer app. Download the app for free from the Apple App Store or on Android Google Play.
Gareth O’Hara, Paxton’s Chief Sales Officer, says: “Three years ago, we launched the Paxton Installer app and, so far, it's been downloaded by over 25,000 users. This essentially addressed the first phase of the development of the programme in validating that the app was deemed useful. We now have the right vehicle to deliver what will be seen as a simple-to-use, loyalty rewards programme that matches our customers’ expectations of us offering the most up to date, smart access control solutions.”
Simple to Collect Points
The Paxton Rewards programme provides installers with a range of benefits and an opportunity to build strong partner relationships with the technology manufacturer. From Paxton Partner to Platinum Partner status, installers will unlock more benefits with every tier, helping them to build and promote their businesses.
Earning points is straightforward, installers can scan any Paxton products with a silver barcode, attend training, or submit case study suggestions.
Gareth says: “We are huge believers in education and the provision of free training, so when people come to training, they will get points. Also, if they do a fantastic installation that they want to promote via a case study, they will get points by submitting it to us.
“So, the programme is not just about purchasing Paxton products, it is also about development through training and education, putting yourself in the shop window with case studies and being a true partner with us.”
Enjoy the Benefits
Installers can enjoy different benefits with the Paxton Rewards programme, including Paxton products, partner badges to show their expertise, and elevated listings on Paxton’s website. Paxton branded merchandise and Amazon vouchers are also available for installers to redeem in the Paxton Rewards store, providing options to spend points on what suits their specific needs.
Gareth says: “For the first time, installers can exchange points for Paxton products. This can add value to their customers and create a commercial advantage. We are keen to work closely with our installers and not only reward them with a programme for the products they buy, but also help them to develop new business by leveraging the Paxton brand themselves.”
Joining the programme does not only give installers rewards, but they will also have a chance to further experience the advantages of the recently updated Paxton Installer app.
Steve Rowlands, Divisional Director of Product Management at Paxton, explains: “Installers can access many useful resources via the app, including literature, product manuals, and installation tutorial videos.
“And what's more, the content is stored in the app locally after being viewed. This is useful when installers are on site with no Wi-Fi, as they can still view the materials to get the instructions they need.”
Switching From Paxton’s Registered Installer Scheme
Installers that are part of the Paxton Registered Installer Scheme are automatically enrolled in the rewards programme without worrying about losing their points.
Steve said: “The current Registered Installer accounts will be upgraded, and their points will be transferred to the new programme. Installers will keep their existing status or move up a tier as Paxton Rewards has different points values for scanning products.”
Advanced IT Services are the first installers to submit a case study through the new Paxton Rewards programme. He shared a 30 door Paxton10 installation at St Lawrence Academy in Scunthorpe.
Installers can collect bonus points for submitting a case study suggestion, and if their case study gets published on the Paxton website.
Speaking about the new programme, Ashley Woodward, Project Manager from Advanced IT Services, said: “We are finding the Paxton Installer app and the rewards programme good. Submitting case study suggestions not only gives us points for rewards, but also helps promote our brand and the work that we do via Paxton’s channels.”
Ashley also likes the programme’s product scanning function: “The barcode scanning makes collecting points and redeeming rewards easier. One thing we would like to see the programme grow is to be able to manage our account from a web browser, but overall we are liking it!”
